Adult Sunday School

All our adult classes meet at 9:55 am.  Find the one that fits you best; most classes begin a new series August 22nd.  Register for a Sunday School class here!

 

**NEW** Great Questions (Upper Room 200 bldg) -- Kerry Cox leads this brand new class for young adults on the quest to answer life's toughtest questions!  Anyone of any age is welcome, but we know young adults will be drawn to Kerry's passion and the open discussion format.  More details on the Young Adults link (under Adult Discipleship).

 

Life Matters (meeting area by Worship Center) -- This class, led by Ken Grant and Jami Majors, is a group of parents of school-aged kids who love community.  Discover God's Word for yourself through various life application studies.  Life stuff...Christ's way!  Join them for an Andy Stanley series called Parental Guidance Required.

 

Fellowship (Room 101) – Herb Kronk teaches this mixed group of older adults, verse-by-verse, through inspection and discussion.  Join them for fellowship and the study of the letter to the Hebrews this fall.  

 

Jeremiah 29:13 Seekers (Room 102/3) – Eva Hackler is the teacher/facilitator of this growing and vibrant class.  Sharing, laughing, studying…words to describe this multi-generational class.  Join them in stheir study of "The God Who Is," which explores the paradox of the God we want versus the God who is.

 

Starting Point (Room 104) – We will begin a new Starting Point class September 12, 2010.  See the Starting Point webpage for more details.

Growing in Grace (Room 105) – Each week this group of parents and grandparents discusses biblical topics in order to grow in God's grace and wisdom.  Join them for a new study by Ray Vander Laan:  Faith Lessons: In the Dust of the Rabbi."

 

Road Warriors (Room 106) – Couples come together every week to walk together on the journey of life, though its ups and downs.  This fall they are diving into The Truth Project and learn more about what it means to have a Christian Worldview.  You can learn more about The Truth Project at www.truthproject.org.

 

Among Friends (Room 107) – The ladies of Among Friends have a heart for Christ, a  love for His Word, as well as generosity for each other and the world around them.  They are currently doing a study by John MacArthur called Twelve Ordinary Men.  Join them for studies that teach the mind, reach the heart, and help with life.

 

Faith Builders (Room 108) – These middle-aged adults enjoy in-depth Bible study and lively discussions.  They explore Scripture in light of its historical context and life application.  Dee Dee Chumley and Denver Woolsey are leading a series on the life of Christ.  Soon they'll start a Bible study on the book of Luke.

 

Ages and Stages (Room 109) – This multi-generational group is studying the Bible, book by book, through “unstructured” dissection and discussion.  They are currently studying 1 & 2 Kings.  Join them as they 0study 1 Chronicles.  Stephanie Williams teaches!

 

Pathfinders (Church Office Conference Room) – This group of older adults (all ages welcome), led by Bonnie Clements and Marty Mears, enjoys discovering new insights and life-changing relevance in God’s Word.  Join them as they study Charles Stanley's Life Principles: Feeling Secure in a Troubled World..

 

Discipleship Academy (Library) – If you’re ready to go deeper in your walk with Christ, consider joining the Discipleship Academy.  Their current module is Dallas Willard's Divine Conspiracy.  For more details on the Discipleship Academy, click its link under Adult Discipleship.
